much love to all out there. I just got out of surgery yesterday. The Appendix was acting up so I got rid of it. Didn't have much use for it anyways. On my way to a happy recovery with more space in my stomach.

We also just got a spot on the MTV you hear it first tour, which starts the second week of July. Super Duper Duper, not to mention that the Freetime video is out on MTV 2 now. Fun stuff.

 
EMCOT has been very active with 50+ members now. We hope to have a release out soon. Check back for a new EP coming out soon of some instrumentals.

rehearsal has be going beautifully. there are two weeks left and already we are itching to get out on the road and play. kenna album release date = june 10th, assuming the label keeps its word. keep your eyes open for the video, posters, t-shirts, caps, stickers and of course, the compact disc. i will be sure to post dates up here as i get them passed on to me.

my parents are visiting and they will be going up to monterey to play some golf. courtesy of michael jackson. waiting for my brother to come and visit. hopefully soon before we leave for the tour.

"go now" won record of the year at the fat radio awards in bangkok.
we'll be working on more tracks very shortly. those in thailand keep your eyes out for smallroom 003 the compilation, and a remix disc of joni's new material by the kids on emcot . we are going to be releasing the remixes before the orginals come out. i'll keep you updated on all the fun happenings, and tour info. take care.

Back in california. My first week back here has been great. Jordan has come up to stay with me and is looking for a place in Los Angeles. I believe he may have found a place on Mt. Olympus by Zeus Drive.
Still enjoying the greek life. 

Work is on standby mode.

Back in bangkok. Celebrating the holidays with the family. I feel a sense of recalibration when I'm back in Bangkok, much like i am lubricating my gears for further thought. The weather here has been pleasant, and yoga has been a good cleansing activity. although i don't go out much, I feel that my socializing has increased tenfold compared to that of my time in Hollywood. It must just be the season of celebration and relaxation that puts me in these social situations. I realize that meetings with artists seem to enhance my own creativity, so I should be more inclined to go out and meet some people, whoever they are.

I am obsessed with this thought of becoming a laptop musician, eventhough i don't know where to start. I guess I should start with the laptop. software has been a problem. being so used to working with so many software synths and samplers on the pc, i'm finding it hard to throw it all away and just work on my tibook.
